The Salon Academy seeks to provide the beauty industry with graduates who are a credit to the institution, their employers, and the Cosmetology industry. On a more personal basis, The Salon Academy strives to offer programs with the employability and earning potential of the graduate in mind. Therefore, our objectives of the program are:
1. To provide real life exposure to the role of a Cosmetologist.
2. To build a solid foundation of beauty culture technical skills.
3. To acquaint students with equipment and products essential to the profession.
4. To make each graduate aware of possible field of work and opportunities for advancement.
5. To impress upon each graduate the necessity for ongoing education to insure professional improvement.
6. To maintain adequate flexibility so as to identify and include frequent product and styling innovations in the department areas.
7. To fulfill all State Board of Cosmetology requirements for licensing.
